In this role you’ll:
- Develop test strategies and plans, ensuring traceability to requirements and compliance with CI/CD, Green IT, and industry standards (e.g., ISTQB).
- Design, prepare, and execute functional and non-functional test cases; continuously update regression suites as features evolve.
- Automate tests when needed, contribute to automation framework improvements.
- Manage defects by logging issues, determining severity, supporting resolutions, and verifying fixes before release.
- Report testing progress to stakeholders and ensure visibility of milestones.
- Participate in specification and architecture reviews, providing feedback on potential risks and gaps.
- Mentor newcomers, support QA peers, and facilitate knowledge sharing within the QA community.
- Efficiently use and suggest improvements to QA tools and frameworks.
- Drive process improvements and contribute to measuring and reducing the environmental impact of QA activities.
About the candidate:
- Requires a university degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar discipline.
- Possess at least 2-5+ years of experience in full-stack development and testing, with a preference for automation testing experience.
- Familiarity with GIT is valued, and experience using Jira or working within Scrum and Agile frameworks would be advantageous.
- Familiarity with Jenkins, Octane, Confluence, Selenium, travel industry (airlines/airports), NoSQL databases (Couchbase), and cloud platforms (OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker) is a plus.
- Strong oral, written, and analytical problem-solving skills required.
- English proficiency is required.
