OS Administrator (Linux & Windows) - Infrastructure Operations

Must-Have Requirements

• Hands-on experience administering Linux distributions (RHEL 8/9/10, CentOS) and Windows Server operating systems in a large enterprise environment (1,000+ servers).

• Kernel and system-level troubleshooting across both Linux and Windows platforms.

• Performance tuning and optimization at the OS level.

• Security hardening and compliance experience (CIS benchmarks, vulnerability remediation).

• Patching and update management experience; familiarity with enterprise patch tools (e.g., Tanium) and VM build/provisioning processes.

• Willingness and availability toparticipatein a 24/7 on-call rotation for production support.

Should-Have Requirements

• Scripting ability in Bash and/or PowerShell to automate routine administration tasks.

• Experienceoperatingin a VMware-virtualized environment (VMs hosted across datacenter and edge locations)

• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tooling (Datadog, Prometheus) to triage and resolve incidents.

• Process-oriented mindset, with experience documenting runbooks and improving repeatable operational procedures.

Could-Have / Nice-to-Have Requirements

• Exposure to Azure infrastructure and hybrid cloud/on-prem operations.

• Familiarity with Chef and/or Ansible for configuration management.

• Experience supporting distributed, multi-site environments (datacenter plus 200+ remote/edge locations).
