About the role

• Specific Business Area

The Global Voice team is responsible for managing and optimising BT's international voice business. Reporting and analytics play a critical role in understanding performance, identifying opportunities, supporting commercial decisions and enabling continuous improvement across products and services.

As a Data Analyst, you will own and develop reporting and insight capabilities that help stakeholders make informed business decisions. Your analysis will support product strategy, commercial performance, customer understanding and operational effectiveness.

What you will be doing (Role Accountabilities)

• Own and maintain the Global Voice reporting environment within Qlik.
• Design, develop and enhance dashboards, reports and data visualisations.
• Work with Product, Sales, Commercial and Operations teams to understand reporting requirements.
• Translate business needs into effective reporting and analytical solutions.
• Analyse data to identify trends, opportunities, risks and market developments.
• Deliver regular and ad hoc reporting to support strategic and operational decisions.
• Ensure reporting accuracy, consistency and high standards of data quality.
• Support the adoption of self-service reporting and data-driven decision-making.
• Transform complex datasets into clear and actionable business insights.
• Explore how AI capabilities can improve reporting, forecasting, insight generation and operational efficiency.
• Identify opportunities to enhance reporting processes through automation and innovation.

What you’ll need to succeed (Skills & Experience)

Essential

• Experience developing and maintaining dashboards using Qlik Sense.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with large datasets and reporting solutions.
• Good knowledge of SQL and data modelling.
• Ability to gather, interpret and translate business requirements into reporting solutions.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data quality.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Desirable

• Experience within telecommunications, networking or voice services.
• Understanding of product performance and commercial reporting.
• Knowledge of data visualisation best practices.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau or other business intelligence platforms.
• Awareness of AI technologies and their use within reporting and analytics.
• Experience using data to support forecasting, market analysis and business planning.
