Founded in 1828 in Antwerp to assess ships for marine insurers and listed on Euronext Paris, it inspects, tests and certifies assets, products and management systems for the marine and offshore, construction, energy, industrial, consumer products and agri-food sectors. It runs offices and laboratories in about 140 countries and hires inspection and quality engineers, laboratory analysts and technicians, and business development staff.
Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related technical field
- 2-4 years of experience in mechanical design, analysis, installation, or inspection within industrial, energy, or manufacturing environments
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Inventor) and familiarity with engineering calculation tools
- Knowledge of mechanical standards and codes (e.g., ASME, ISO, EN) and of materials, machinery, and pressure equipment requirements
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to coordinate with design teams, vendors, and clients
