Job Details

This role is in support of Cencora's global logistics and storage services marketed through our World Courier business.

In our brand-new Kirchheim branch, we are looking for a Supervisor on our dedicated Operations team. You will supervise operational activities in accordance with corporate policies and procedures and ensure smooth operations during shift.

Requirements:

• Captures and meets customer’s expectations.
• Communicates knowledge and experience to front line staff and acts as coach, trainer and role model.
• Plans and schedules front line staff, keeping a grasp on daily activity, and ensures proper resource use on a daily basis.
• Provides feedback to managers on daily issues & staff performance.
• Ensures conformance to all company procedures and standards as well as all GxP requirements while complying with regulatory agencies standards (PIP, Transport Canada, TSA regulations, etc) and cold chain requirements.
• Assists the Operations Manager in training on SOPs (global and local).
• Ensuring that refrigeration / temperature control equipment is working correctly.
• Troubleshooting and problem management.
• Delegates all shipments to customer service / operations staff.
• Monitors screens to ensure all deadlines are met, following up on all work in progress
• Assists other departments with general questions about the operation & packaging and supporting sales by providing technical expertise and participating in sales calls/presentations.
• Implements new technology to increase productivity and performance.
• Maintains a favorable working relationship with all company employees to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate.
• Maximizes employee morale, productivity, efficiency and retention.
• Assists the Operations Manager in conducting performance evaluations and yearly reviews.
• Demonstrates flexibility in work schedule

• Relevant operational experience in logistic operations
• Full understanding of Cold Chain Management
• Flexibility, exceptional work ethic and Leadership agility
• Professional manner and sense of urgency, inspiration and creativity
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills as well as approachable demeanor
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in World Courier systems preferred
