AI Engineer

As an AI Engineer at Cimba.ai, you will be a hands-on builder responsible for driving the success of our core product. You will work closely with real customer problems, deeply analyzing reported issues, identifying recurring themes, uncovering product gaps, and designing high-impact machine learning solutions to solve them. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys ownership, shipping meaningful features, and seeing their work directly influence business outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Deep dive into customer pain points and reported issues to identify patterns and product gaps.
• Design, build, and deploy production-grade ML and AI systems.
• Propose and implement high-impact solutions using classical ML, deep learning, and LLMs.
• Own features end-to-end from problem definition to deployment and evaluation.
• Work closely with the founding and product teams to shape roadmap decisions.

Requirements:

• Production Experience: Proven experience designing and deploying AI/ML systems in real-world production environments.
• Technical Expertise: Strong hands-on experience with classical machine learning techniques, deep learning systems, large language models (LLMs), model evaluation, validation, and performance tracking.
• Foundational Strength: Solid understanding of core ML and AI engineering concepts and trade-offs.
• Impact and Ownership: Builder mindset with a strong sense of ownership. Ability to ship features that directly improve customer outcomes and business decisions.
• Diligent Problem-Solving: High attention to detail. Strong work ethic and ability to think creatively when solving complex technical problems.
• Communication: Ability to clearly explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
