QA Engineer

We are looking for a talented QA Engineer to join our client’s team and play a key role in shaping the organization’s QA strategy and ensuring high-quality digital delivery. You will collaborate closely with Business Analysis, Development, and business teams, build QA processes from the ground up, drive automation, UAT and regression testing initiatives, and contribute to the digital transformation of the insurance sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Requirements Validation: Convert business requirements into effective test scenarios.
• UAT & Regression: Optimize UAT processes and maintain regression suites with CI/CD quality gates.
• End-to-End Testing: Execute manual and automated tests for functional and non-functional quality.
• Automation Expansion: Increase automation coverage using Selenium, SoapUI, Postman, etc.
• Defect & Process Improvement: Analyze defects and drive quality improvements.
• Tooling & Support: Support test management and automation tool selection and setup.
• Team Mentoring: Share best practices and guide junior testers.

Required Qualifications

• Academic Background: Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Professional Experience: Proven experience leading QA teams and driving organization-wide testing initiatives.
• Automation & CI/CD: Strong knowledge of automation frameworks, performance testing, and CI/CD in Agile/DevOps environments.
• UAT Collaboration: Experience working with business stakeholders on UAT planning and execution.
• Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to enhance QA processes.
• Communication: Excellent cross-functional communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with Selenium, SoapUI, and Postman
• Familiarity with test management and automation tools
• Experience designing and maintaining regression test suites
• Knowledge of non-functional and performance testing
