Manual QA Tester

We are looking for a detail-orientedSenior Manual QA Tester to join our team and play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and seamless user experience of our web applications. This role focuses on designing and executing comprehensive manual testing activities across the full software development lifecycle, while working closely with Developers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, and Designers in an Agile environment.

You will be joining a fast-growingTravel & Transportation IT Services project, working with an established international group specializing in corporate, marine, and leisure travel management. Our partner has more than 38 years of industry experience and a global presence across three continents, providing tailored travel services and 24/7 support to hundreds of corporate and marine clients. The company combines deep expertise in travel operations with continuous investment in digital innovation, including a modern travel management platform that brings together travelers, coordinators, and travel advisors through a seamless digital experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Test Planning & Design: Create comprehensive test plans, test scenarios, and test cases based on business and functional requirements, ensuring all features and critical user journeys are thoroughly tested.
• Manual Testing: Perform functional, regression, exploratory, integration, smoke, and user acceptance support testing to identify defects and verify application functionality.
• Bug Reporting & Tracking: Accurately document, reproduce, and track software defects using tools such as Jira, providing clear descriptions and reproducible steps.
• Requirements Validation: Review business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to identify ambiguities, missing scenarios, and potential risks before development is completed.
• Collaboration: Work closely with developers, business analysts, product managers, and designers to clarify requirements, verify fixes, and ensure high-quality releases.
• API Validation: Perform basic API testing and validation using tools such as Postman to verify request and response data when required.

  Cross-Browser & Device Testing: Verify application functionality across

  different browsers, devices, and screen resolutions to ensure a consistent user experience.

• Release Validation: Execute regression testing before releases and verify production fixes after deployment.
• Test Documentation: Maintain and update test cases, test execution

  reports, and testing documentation to reflect application changes.

• Continuous Improvement: Contribute to improving QA processes, testing standards, and best practices across the development team.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Manual QA Tester focusing on manual software

  testing.

• Strong experience in creating and executing detailed test cases and test

  scenarios.

• Experience testing web applications; experience with Single Page

  Applications (SPA) is considered an advantage.

• Experience with defect management and bug tracking tools such as Jira.
• Basic experience with API testing using tools such as Postman or Insomnia.
• Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, testing techniques, and software development lifecycles.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git is considered an

  advantage.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience testing Angular-based applications.
• Experience with performance or load testing tools.
• Basic SQL knowledge for validating data.
• Experience testing responsive and mobile web applications.
• ISTQB Foundation Level certification or equivalent is considered an

  advantage.
