Mobile Test Automation Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled Mobile Test Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Appium and hands-on experience leveraging AI-powered testing tools and automation techniques. The ideal candidate should have worked in a product-based company, building scalable mobile automation frameworks and ensuring high-quality Android and iOS applications through modern testing practices.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust mobile automation frameworks using Appium.
• Automate functional, regression, smoke, and end-to-end test scenarios for Android and iOS applications.
• Integrate AI-driven testing solutions to improve test creation, maintenance, defect prediction, and test optimisation.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and QA teams to ensure product quality throughout the SDLC.
• Execute automated test suites within CI/CD pipelines and analyse test results.
• Identify, report, and track defects while ensuring timely resolution.
• Optimise automation scripts for performance, stability, and maintainability.
• Participate in code reviews and promote automation best practices across teams.

Requirements:

• 5-7 years of experience in Mobile Test Automation.
• Strong hands-on experience with Appium.
• Experience in automating Android and iOS applications.
• Proficiency in Java or Python.
• Experience with Selenium WebDriver and API testing using Postman or Rest Assured.
• Strong understanding of mobile testing frameworks and automation design patterns.
• Experience with Git, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar CI/CD tools.
• Hands-on experience with AI-powered testing tools or AI-assisted automation.
• Familiarity with GenAI/LLM-based QA workflows, AI-assisted test case generation, self-healing automation, or intelligent test maintenance.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Good to Have:

• Experience with cloud-based device testing platforms such as BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, or LambdaTest.
• Experience with performance or API automation testing.
• Knowledge of mobile application security testing.
• Exposure to AI agents or intelligent QA automation frameworks.

Mandatory Requirements:

• 5-7 years of relevant experience in Mobile Test Automation.
• Hands-on expertise in Appium is mandatory.
• Experience working in a Product-Based company is mandatory.
• Experience with AI-powered testing or GenAI-enabled QA automation is mandatory.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
