We are looking for a Senior Technical Director - Agentic AI Engineering to lead the design, development, and scaling of next-generation AI products powered by Agentic AI, Multi-Agent Systems, and Large Language Models (LLMs). This role requires a highly technical leader who has hands-on experience building Agentic AI solutions from 01 taking AI products from concept to production. You should be comfortable defining technical strategy while actively contributing to architecture, AI workflows, and critical engineering decisions.
The candidate will have responsibilities across the following functions:
Agentic AI Leadership:
- Lead the architecture and delivery of production-grade Agentic AI platforms.
- Design and build multi-agent orchestration workflows capable of autonomous reasoning, planning, memory, and tool usage.
- Drive the complete AI product lifecycle from ideation (01) to production deployment and continuous optimisation.
- Establish engineering best practices for reliable, scalable, and secure AI systems.
AI and LLM Engineering:
- Build production systems using modern LLMs and AI frameworks.
- Design AI workflows involving planning, memory, retrieval, function calling, tool execution, and autonomous decision-making.
- Evaluate and integrate emerging foundation models and AI technologies.
- Optimise latency, cost, accuracy, and reliability of AI applications in production.
Technical Leadership:
- Lead architecture reviews and engineering decisions for distributed AI systems.
- Build highly scalable cloud-native platforms supporting enterprise AI workloads.
- Mentor engineering leaders while remaining deeply involved in solving complex technical challenges.
Cross-functional Leadership:
- Partner with Product, Design, Data Science, and AI Research teams.
- Translate business problems into scalable AI-first product solutions.
- Drive engineering execution with measurable business outcomes.
Requirements:
- 15+ years of software engineering experience.
- Strong experience leading engineering teams and large-scale product development.
- Hands-on experience building Agentic AI products from 01 and deploying them into production.
- Proven expertise designing Multi-Agent Systems for enterprise or consumer applications.
- Deep understanding of LLMs, Prompt Engineering, RAG, AI memory, planning, reasoning, tool calling, and AI orchestration.
- Strong experience with AI frameworks such as LangGraph, LangChain, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, AutoGen, OpenAI Agents SDK (or similar).
- Experience integrating LLMs from providers such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, or open-source models.
- Hands-on experience with Vector Databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, pgvector, ChromaDB, Milvus).
- Strong knowledge of Python, distributed systems, APIs, Kubernetes, cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), and modern software architecture.
- Experience implementing AI observability, evaluation, and monitoring using tools such as LangSmith, Ragas, Arize, or similar.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience building AI platforms for consumer-facing (B2C) products at scale.
- Knowledge of Model Context Protocol (MCP) and AI agent interoperability.
- Experience building AI developer platforms, autonomous workflows, or AI copilots.
- Familiarity with AI governance, security, and responsible AI practices.
Ideal Candidate:
- Has successfully built and scaled Agentic AI products from concept to production.
- Deep expertise in Multi-Agent Systems and modern LLM frameworks.
- Comfortable being hands-on with architecture, AI workflows, and technical problem-solving.
