Job Purpose
The Senior Systems Administrator will be responsible for the configuration, implementation, and
maintenance of various technologies managed by the Information Technology department. He
should ensure the efficient and reliable operation of the systems and maintain their availability and reliability.
Key Accountabilities
- Administer operation systems throughall IT infrastructure and platforms.
- Prepare reports and ensure optimalservice availability
- Ensure efficient maintenance andensure compliance to all disasterrecovery plans.
- Provide latest access security to protectall infrastructure services.
- Monitor all communication for eachcustomer to assess operations withintimeframe.
- To assure highest level of systemsavailability and to maintain the dataintegrity, security and bestsystemsperformance.
- To plan and develop thebackup strategies assuring the best datarecovery time.
- To be responsible for theconfiguration, and maintenance ofvarious technologies managed by the
- Information Technology department.

- Maintain records of all service levelagreements for customers.
- Check and ensure resolution of allissues to achieve all operationsobjectives without breaching the SLA.
- Enhance operations SLAs and assurecustomer satisfaction.
- Responsible of any upgrade patchesacross production systems and ensurequality and standard.
- Apply patch fixes for all bugs on alllive systems whenever needed.
- Administer all infrastructure servicesand provide backup for recoveringsystems.
- Ensure SYSTEM availability of allsystems and IT network application.Provide backup andredundancy toretrieve data in case of emergency.
- Restore a random services/databaseson regular basis to ensure backuphealthy state
- Have a solid backup process withdocumentation of the data type,location, size, date and time, RBO andRTO for auditing purposes.
- Enhance the Systems Performance toassure using the server resources in themost effective and efficient way.
- Enhance the database Security tosupport the data confidentiality andprivacy.
- Plan and implement the systemsupgrades and patches installation toassure of using the latestavailabletechnologies and avoiding the knownbugs.
- Administer all network equipment, hardware (routers, switches, wirelessaccess points, voice servers, gatewaysand IP phones) and software upgrades.
- Design and maintain all IT processesaccording operation policies throughstandardization of methods.
- Maintain and prepare all necessarydocumentation for various operationactivities.
- Prepare and review all Service Leveland Operation Metrics and KPI scoresfor all operations.
- Analyze all systems for proactivesupport and ensure efficiency.
- Act as a 3rd level of support with theNOC team
- Give full support to Implementationteam on delivering new project in golife phase.
- Consulted in the acceptance phase (UAT) in new projects with theImplementation team.
- Feedback and involve Planning teamfor repeated faulty device for planningfuture actions.
- Feedback and involve Planning teamfor needed revamp design planes.
- Responsible to receive full handoverdocumentation and low level designdocument from the Implementationteam before accepting new projects togo production.
- Work in full cooperation with the ITService Support team in any escalatedissues End to End untilcompleteresolution.
