Accountant

Job Description:

A group of schools with branches in Fifth Settlement, 6th of October and El Shorouk is hiring an Accountant to join the Finance Department.

The position will be responsible for performing daily accounting activities and providing financial support across all branches of the group.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform daily accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records.

• Prepare and review invoices, receipts, and payment documents.

• Record revenues, expenses, and other financial transactions.

• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable.

• Follow up on cash collections and payments across different branches.

• Perform bank and cash reconciliations.

• Prepare regular financial reports and statements.

• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.

• Follow up on accounting documents and ensure proper filing.

• Coordinate with the Finance Department and branch administrations.

• Visit and follow up on accounting activities across all branches when required.

• Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• 2–4 years of relevant experience.

• Previous experience in accounting is preferred.

• Good knowledge of accounting principles.

• Good command of Microsoft Excel.

• Experience with ERP or accounting software is preferred.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Good communication and organizational skills.

• Ability to work across multiple branches and handle different tasks.

• Willingness to travel between the group’s branches.
