Job Description:
A group of schools with branches in Fifth Settlement, October and El Shorouk is hiring a Tax Accountant to join the Finance Department at the Fifth Settlement branch.
The position will be responsible for handling tax-related activities, ensuring accurate tax records, timely filings, and compliance with Egyptian tax regulations.
Job Responsibilities:
Prepare and submit tax returns and required tax reports.
Handle VAT, payroll taxes, withholding tax, and other applicable taxes.
Review invoices and accounting documents to ensure proper tax treatment.
Reconcile tax accounts and investigate any discrepancies.
Maintain accurate and organized tax records and documentation.
Follow up on tax payments and filing deadlines.
Assist with tax inspections and provide required documents to the tax authorities.
Coordinate with external tax advisors and auditors when required.
Keep up to date with changes in Egyptian tax laws and regulations.
Ensure compliance with company tax policies and applicable regulations.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
5-7 years of relevant experience in taxation.
Strong knowledge of Egyptian tax laws and regulations.
Practical experience with tax returns and tax procedures.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and organizational skills.
