Position Overview

As a Business Intelligence Developer at EOS, you will play a pivotal role in transforming data into actionable insights that support data-driven decision-making across the business. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain Business Intelligence (BI) solutions using SQL, Tableau, and Python.

This role is well-suited to someone who enjoys working with data end-to-end-from understanding business needs to building scalable, high-quality analytics solutions-and who takes pride in delivering clear, impactful insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards and reports that clearly visualise and communicate complex data findings.
• Write and optimise complex SQL queries to support reporting, analytics, and data exploration.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, understand, and translate business requirements into effective BI solutions.
• Design and implement ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from multiple data sources.
• Perform data analysis and develop data models to support reporting and analytical needs.
• Write efficient Python scripts for data manipulation, analysis, and automation tasks.
• Optimise BI solutions to ensure performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Stay current with industry trends, tools, and best practices in business intelligence and data analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (a Master’s degree is preferred).
• Strong experience programming in SQL, including writing and optimising complex queries.
• Proven experience working as a Business Intelligence Developer or Data Analyst.
• Strong proficiency in Tableau for data visualisation and report development.
• Proficiency in Python for data manipulation, analysis, and scripting.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality, accurate work.

Preferred Qualifications

• Tableau certification or experience with additional BI tools such as Power BI or QlikView.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and database management systems.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
