Credit Analyst

Position Purpose:

Reporting to the Credit Manager, the Credit Analyst focuses on key customer accounts as well as working with the AR team providing support where needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as an ambassador of the company with all employees and customers.
• Focuses on key customer accounts and rectify discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Liaisons with other departments to solve issues.
• Provides training and guidance to staff when required.
• Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
• Demonstrates superior customer service when speaking with the public.
• Post customer payments by recording cash, checks, and credit card transactions daily.
• Assure that invoices are correct and check for any errors.
• Resolve discrepancies among management and sales team.
• Work closely with credit manager to collect past due accounts.
• Maintain relationships with customers while collecting payments.
• Make customers aware of any past due accounts.
• File intents, liens, and waivers.
• Create new accounts and verify credit.
• Assist with any projects and tasks required by the Credit Director.
• Meet month end deadlines.

Minimum Qualifications:

1-2 years’ experience in an Accounts Receivable or similar role. Proven analytical and problem-solving skills. Detail orientated with disciplined work habits. Proven ability to effectively prioritize and organize workflow to ensure deadlines are met in a fast-paced environment and able to adapt to shifting priorities. Takes initiative, is proactive in their work, and results oriented. Strong technical skills including advanced Microsoft Office and MS Navigation Proven ability to work in a team environment. A positive can-do attitude is essential. Demonstrate knowledge of general accounting procedures. Communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing to coworkers and customers.

Sitting for extended periods of time.
