System Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Support desktop/laptop for Win 10 OS and Office applications (MS Office).
• Win 10, installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Install standard software on clients.
• Support for MS Outlook configuration.
• Update AV and Microsoft patches.
• Troubleshoot basic LAN issues.
• IP addresses, IP conflicts, and the ability to differentiate the required network from the others.
• Wireless LAN; DHCP setup.
• Perform Install, Move, Add, or Change (IMAC) at the desktop level.
• Attach desktops to the AD domain.
• Printer, Scanner L1-related issues.
• In case of hardware problems, escalate them to vendors.
• Log incidents in AHD Tool for cases received by phone and email.
• Prioritize the incidents based on severity.
• Monitor the AHD tool for open incidents.
• Perform activities necessary for the immediate short-term resolution of incidents and service requests so that users can resume their work as rapidly as possible.
• Should be flexible to work on any assigned task, i. e., system readiness or security compliance, or asset maintenance, etc.
