Account Manager

1. B2B Sales & Lead Generation:

• Proactively identify and research potential corporate clients and business opportunities.
• Conduct outbound cold calls to businesses to introduce our services and generate qualified leads.
• Identify key decision-makers within IT, procurement, facilities, finance and sustainability departments.
• Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline through telephone prospecting, email campaigns and follow-ups.
• Book appointments, arrange meetings and generate opportunities for new business.
• Follow up on leads and prospective clients to convert opportunities into sales.

• Manage and grow relationships with existing clients.
• Identify opportunities to expand services within existing accounts.
• Maintain regular contact with clients to understand their business needs and upcoming requirements.
• Provide professional service and ensure client enquiries are handled promptly.
• Build long-term relationships that encourage repeat business and referrals.

• Maintain accurate customer records, prospect lists and sales activities.
• Update the CRM or sales tracking system with calls, leads, follow-ups and outcomes.
• Prepare proposals and coordinate with internal departments to meet client requirements.
• Monitor sales performance against agreed targets.
• Provide regular reports on leads generated, calls made, appointments booked and business secured

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric) qualification.
• Previous experience in B2B sales, account management, telemarketing or outbound lead generation.
• Proven ability to make cold calls, engage decision-makers and generate business opportunities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong telephone etiquette, negotiation and persuasion skills.
• Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple client accounts and follow-ups.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
• A proactive, resilient and target-driven approach to work.
