We are currently representing a highly respected international wealth management firm seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join its growing team.

This is a proactive, commercially focused position for someone who understands the wealth management sector and has a proven ability to generate new business, engage prospective clients and create high-quality opportunities for the advisory team. This is not a passive lead-management role.

The successful individual will be expected to actively identify, approach and develop relationships with prospective clients through a combination of telephone engagement, networking, marketing activity, events, referrals and strategic partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Proactively identify and engage prospective clients
• Generate qualified meetings and new business opportunities for Wealth Managers
• Conduct regular outbound telephone and relationship-building activity
• Attend and support networking events, seminars and client functions
• Develop relationships with professional introducers and strategic partners
• Support targeted marketing and lead-generation campaigns
• Maintain an active and well-managed pipeline of prospective clients
• Work closely with the advisory and marketing teams to convert opportunities into long-term client relationships

What our client is looking for:

• Previous experience in a Business Development Manager, Business Development Executive or client acquisition role within the wealth management sector is essential
• A proven track record of generating new clients and qualified business opportunities
• Strong telephone, networking and relationship-building skills
• A highly proactive, resilient and commercially driven approach
• Confidence engaging with high-net-worth and internationally mobile individuals
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a structured sales pipeline
• Existing knowledge of the Mexican expatriate wealth management market would be highly advantageous
