Management Accountant

The successful candidate will take ownership of plant costing, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis while working closely with operational teams to improve efficiencies and profitability. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee plant costing activities.
• Maintain and analyse Bill of Materials (BOM) structures and costing models.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Monitor and report on Work-in-Progress (WIP), inventory, and manufacturing variances.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and performance reports.
• Deliver insightful cost analysis and profitability reporting.
• Partner with plant management to support business objectives.
• Analyse operational and financial data to identify trends and opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with financial controls, policies, and reporting standards.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across finance and operations

• Relevant Finance, Accounting, or Commerce Degree.
• Minimum 5 years' experience as a Management Accountant.
• Proven experience within a manufacturing or plant environment.
• Strong knowledge of BOM management, budgeting, forecasting, and WIP analysis.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing costing, inventory management, and variance analysis.
• Advanced Excel skills and ERP system experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to build strong relationships across finance and operational teams.
• Self-motivated with a proactive and results-driven mindset.
