Mid Level Fullstack (Java + Angular) Developer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Mid Level Fullstack (Java + Angular) Developer based in Brazil.

You will join a development team focused on delivering high-quality digital solutions and creating measurable value for clients.

The role combines backend development with Java and modern frontend engineering using Angular.

You will build applications, integrate RESTful APIs, and contribute to reliable, maintainable software solutions.

Quality is central to the role, with an emphasis on automated testing, design patterns, version control, and sound engineering practices.

You will also use AI-powered development tools to improve productivity and support modern software delivery practices.

Accountabilities

• Collaborate with the development team to deliver high-quality software solutions aligned with client and business requirements.
• Analyze and resolve technical problems effectively, applying a broader understanding of business objectives and impacts.
• Develop and maintain frontend applications using Angular.
• Build and integrate applications with RESTful APIs.
• Develop backend functionality using Java and contribute to end-to-end application delivery.
• Apply software engineering best practices, including automated testing and appropriate design patterns.
• Write clean, maintainable, and reliable code while contributing to overall application quality.
• Use Git and established development workflows to manage source code and collaborate effectively.
• Work with relational and non-relational databases as required by application needs.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools, including Copilot and capabilities such as agents, skills, and MCP, to enhance development workflows.
• Contribute to technical discussions, problem-solving, code quality, and continuous improvement within the development team.

Requirements

• Professional experience developing applications with Java 21+.
• Hands-on experience developing modern frontend applications with Angular 20+.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Understanding and practical application of software design patterns.
• Experience implementing and maintaining automated tests.
• Practical experience with Git and collaborative version-control workflows.
• Knowledge of both relational and non-relational databases.
• Solid understanding and practical experience with RESTful APIs and integrations.
• Experience using AI-powered development tools such as GitHub Copilot, including agents, skills, MCP, or similar capabilities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to understand technical issues in the context of broader business needs.
• Good communication and teamwork skills, with a collaborative approach to software development.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
• Knowledge of Kafka and hexagonal architecture is advantageous.
• Experience with Node.js is a plus.
• Knowledge of accessibility and analytics is desirable.
• Familiarity with tools and platforms such as GitHub, GitHub Actions, Jira, Confluence, Nexus, SonarQube, Fortify, Dynatrace, and Azure is beneficial.
