Profile match
Jobgether is a Belgian recruitment platform built entirely around remote and flexible work, aggregating openings from thousands of employers that allow work from outside an office. Its matching engine ranks roles against a candidate's skills, seniority and stated preferences on location and flexibility, rather than leaving people to filter a keyword search, and it verifies how genuinely remote each posting is. The company also runs an AI screening layer that shortlists applicants for employers, and publishes research and guidance on distributed work practices alongside the job marketplace itself.

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Event Marketing Specialist based in United States.

This role offers the opportunity to lead strategic demand generation events across the Americas and directly contribute to brand visibility and sales pipeline growth. You will own the planning and execution of major conferences, trade shows, flagship events, and targeted public sector programs. Working closely with sales, marketing, operations, design, and other stakeholders, you will turn event strategies into impactful experiences and measurable business outcomes. The role combines hands-on event execution with campaign planning, budget management, vendor coordination, and performance analysis. You will have significant ownership over the event calendar, assets, logistics, and post-event measurement. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced event marketer who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative, and technology-driven environment.

Accountabilities:

    • Lead end-to-end planning and execution of demand generation events across the Americas, including major conferences, trade shows, and flagship industry events.
    • Develop and execute comprehensive event marketing plans for corporate, public sector, and demand generation programs, ensuring alignment with broader marketing and business objectives.
    • Coordinate event logistics from initial planning through on-site execution, including vendor negotiations, budget management, booth design, materials, and operational details.
    • Manage event inventory, including promotional materials, branded assets, and trade show equipment.
    • Collaborate with design teams and event stakeholders to develop compelling, on-brand event materials and experiences.
    • Partner with sales and marketing operations to track event-generated pipeline, measure performance, and report on ROI against demand generation targets.
    • Provide tailored event marketing support to commercial and public sector sales teams based on their specific objectives and audiences.
    • Proactively maintain event calendars, event lists, timelines, and internal coordination processes.
    • Support additional marketing initiatives and projects as needed, demonstrating flexibility and ownership to ensure successful execution.
    • Monitor event marketing trends and industry developments to identify new opportunities and continuously improve event strategy.
    • Travel domestically up to 20% of the time to support on-site event execution and team activities.
    • Requirements:

      • 5+ years of professional experience in event marketing, preferably within a SaaS or B2B technology environment.
      • Proven experience planning and executing large-scale conferences and trade shows, as well as smaller targeted events.
      • Experience managing complex programs involving multiple stakeholders, teams, vendors, and business functions.
      • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple events, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously.
      • Results-driven and self-motivated, with a strong sense of ownership and commitment to high-quality execution.
      • Confident collaborator who can work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
      • Strong business acumen, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
      • Proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office tools.
      • Experience in the cybersecurity industry is preferred.
      • Familiarity with CRM and marketing automation platforms such as Salesforce or HubSpot for event lead tracking and follow-up is a plus.
      • Experience with project management platforms such as Monday.com is preferred.
      • Willingness and ability to travel up to 20% for domestic events.
      • Benefits:

        • 100% remote position within the United States, with a hybrid work option for candidates located near the company’s Chicago headquarters.
        • Medical, dental, and vision coverage, including domestic partnerships.
        • Employer-paid life insurance, plus supplemental life insurance options for employees, spouses, and children.
        • Voluntary short-term and long-term disability insurance.
        • Traditional and Roth 401(k) options.
        • Generous paid time off, including paid bereavement and jury duty leave.
        • Above-market annual bonus opportunities.
        • Opportunities to participate in in-person events, team gatherings, and collaborative activities.
        • Travel opportunities associated with major conferences, trade shows, and other industry events.
