This is a remote sales role focused on growing mid-size and large customer accounts across the South Central U.S. territory.
You will drive commercial performance across laboratory products and services while developing trusted, long-term customer relationships.
The role combines consultative selling, strategic account planning, new business development, and data-driven sales management.
You will support customers across Texas, Oklahoma, and New Mexico, helping them identify laboratory solutions aligned with their operational and scientific needs.
Using Salesforce and other business development tools, you will manage opportunities, analyze customer trends, and track performance across your territory.
You will collaborate closely with marketing, service, and cross-functional teams to expand market presence and accelerate growth.

Accountabilities:
- Drive sales performance across laboratory product and service categories, including lab weighing, liquid handling, laboratory filtration, microbiology, lab water, and service offerings.
- Promote relevant products and services across an assigned territory and customer portfolio to achieve sales, revenue, and growth objectives.
- Manage the South Central territory covering Texas, Oklahoma, and New Mexico, with preference for candidates located within the same time zone as the assigned territory.
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities aligned with regional market strategies and broader growth objectives.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans, assessing customer potential and coordinating internal resources to convert opportunities into sustainable business growth.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers, creating long-term partnerships based on an understanding of their needs.
- Assess customer requirements, generate leads, respond to inquiries, and recommend appropriate laboratory products and services.
- Use Salesforce (SFDC) to manage leads, opportunities, customer interactions, sales activities, and account information while maintaining accurate and current data.
- Analyze Salesforce data to identify customer trends, generate actionable insights, monitor sales performance, and evaluate the effectiveness of commercial activities.
- Drive adoption of newly launched products and services while proactively tracking sales activity and customer response.
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, service, and other cross-functional teams to strengthen market presence and develop account growth strategies.
- Coordinate and participate in marketing and customer engagement activities within the assigned territory.
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred; advanced education is beneficial.
- At least 2 years of sales experience, ideally within laboratory, process-based, Life Sciences, scientific, or related technical environments.
- Hands-on experience using Salesforce (SFDC) or comparable CRM platforms to manage opportunities, customer relationships, and sales activities.
- Strong communication, presentation, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to identify customer needs and translate those needs into appropriate product or service recommendations.
- Self-motivated, energetic, and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently and take ownership of territory and account objectives.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple opportunities and priorities effectively.
- Proven ability to collaborate successfully with cross-functional teams and coordinate internal resources around customer and account objectives.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and other standard business productivity tools.
- Willingness to travel or participate in territory-based customer and marketing activities as required.

- Base salary of $75,000-$85,000 USD, depending on experience and qualifications.
- Commission opportunity of up to approximately 35% of base salary, providing additional performance-based earning potential.
