We are looking for an Android Audio Framework Engineer with strong hands-on experience in C++, Android Audio Framework, and AOSP.
Requirements:
- Strong hands-on experience in Android Audio Framework using C++.
- Hands-on experience with Android Audio Framework / AOSP Audio.
- Hands-on experience working with AOSP source code.
- Experience with key Android Audio components such as: AudioFlinger, AudioPolicy / AudioPolicyManager, AudioService / AudioManager, AudioFocus & Audio Routing, AudioTrack / AudioRecord, Audio HAL.
- Strong understanding of C++, OOP, Multithreading, Synchronization, IPC/Binder, and AIDL.
- Good knowledge of Linux and command-line debugging.
- Hands-on experience with ADB, Logcat, Dumpsys, Bugreport, GDB, and Android traces.
- Experience with Git/Gerrit.
- Ability to debug issues across Android Framework, Native Audio Framework, and Audio HAL.
Good to Have:
- Good working knowledge of Java.
- Understanding of Android Framework and system architecture.
- Experience with Android Automotive / IVI.
- Knowledge of ALSA / TinyALSA.
- Experience with HIDL/AIDL-based HAL.
