About This Role
MangoApps runs an enterprise SaaS platform that thousands of customers depend on every day. We're looking for an early-career DevOps Engineer to join the team responsible for keeping that platform reliable, secure, and performing well in production.
This is a hands-on engineering role where you'll work directly with AWS infrastructure, Linux systems, containers, monitoring, deployment pipelines, and automation. You'll be responsible for real operational work from the start, including troubleshooting issues, improving monitoring, supporting deployments, maintaining infrastructure, and automating repetitive tasks.
The scope of your responsibilities will grow as your experience does. We're looking for someone who wants to contribute, solve problems, and take ownership of increasingly complex infrastructure and operational work.
We're looking for someone early in their career who already has real-world AWS experience through an internship or professional role and wants to build a career in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, and reliability engineering.
If you like understanding how systems work, digging into technical problems, and finding ways to make systems more reliable and easier to operate, this role is a strong fit.
Who You Are
- You have 6 months to 2 years of professional experience in DevOps, Cloud Operations, Site Reliability Engineering, systems engineering, or a related technical role. Relevant internships count.
- You've worked hands-on with AWS and understand the fundamentals of cloud infrastructure.
- You're comfortable working in Linux and using the command line.
- You have basic scripting experience with Python, Bash, or a similar language.
- You enjoy troubleshooting and want to understand why something happened, not just how to make the error go away.
- You're comfortable taking ownership of assigned work, asking questions when needed, and following problems through to resolution.
What You'll Work On
- AWS infrastructure & operations - Help operate and maintain AWS infrastructure across compute, storage, networking, DNS, load balancing, and security services.
- Monitoring & troubleshooting - Monitor platform health, investigate alerts and system issues, analyze logs and metrics, and help identify and resolve root causes.
- Linux systems - Administer and troubleshoot Linux-based systems, including processes, services, permissions, logs, system resources, and networking.
- Containers - Work with Docker-based services and containerized workloads across development and production environments.
- Automation - Build and maintain scripts and tooling that reduce manual work and make operational processes more consistent and repeatable.
- CI/CD & deployments - Support and improve deployment pipelines and release automation to help engineering teams ship software reliably.
- Observability - Build and improve dashboards, monitoring, logging, and alerts so issues can be identified and diagnosed quickly.
- Security & reliability - Apply cloud security and reliability practices across infrastructure, access controls, networking, secrets, and system configuration.
- Operational improvements - Identify areas where processes, systems, or tooling can be improved and help implement those changes.
As you gain experience, you'll take ownership of larger systems, projects, and operational responsibilities.
