As a Senior Sourcing Specialist, you will drive strategic procurement operations with a specific focus on US and European markets. You will act as a critical bridge between MediaTek’s headquarters and our international business units, managing end-to-end sourcing activities across diverse indirect and direct categories-including IT, R&D, Facilities, and Marketing Communications (MarCom).
Key Responsibilities
- Global Sourcing & Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive sourcing strategies for US and European markets to secure cost-effective, high-quality, and dependable suppliers.
- Multi-Category Management: Lead procurement activities across a diverse portfolio, including IT software/hardware, R&D equipment, facility maintenance services, and marketing communications (MarCom) agencies.
- Stakeholder & Conflict Management: Serve as the primary procurement liaison for overseas stakeholders; proactively manage expectations, align cross-functional goals, and skillfully resolve business or contract conflicts.
- Supplier Relationship Management (SRM): Establish, nurture, and evaluate robust relationships with key strategic global suppliers to ensure long-term partnership value and compliance.
- Market & Category Intelligence: Conduct rigorous market and category analyses to assess international supply markets, monitor industry trends, and uncover continuous cost-saving opportunities.
- Contract Negotiation: Lead high-value contract negotiations (including Master Service Agreements and Statements of Work) to secure favorable commercial terms, mitigate risks, and guarantee supply chain stability.
