About the Role

Minfy is looking for a VMware Specialist Solutions Architect to help our customers accelerate the migration of their VMware workloads to the cloud platform of their choice. This is an opportunity to guide customers on best practices for migrating existing workloads, advise on resilient cloud architectures and operating models, and help shape Minfy's VMware migration offerings and go-to-market positioning across cloud platforms.

You'll work closely with Minfy's Cloud Advisory, Presales, and MiMo delivery teams, engaging with customers across industries to solve their most technically demanding VMware migration challenges - regardless of destination cloud.

Key Responsibilities

As a Specialist Solutions Architect within Minfy's MiMo practice, you'll be at the leading edge of VMware migration expertise - called upon by Sales, Solutions Architecture, and Delivery teams to provide expert guidance to customers.

• Own the technical engagement for customers migrating VMware workloads to the cloud, ensuring guidance is current, architecturally sound, secure, reliable, sustainable, and cost-efficient - regardless of target platform
• Advise customers on the right destination architecture for their workloads, whether native rehost/replatform on a hyperscaler, or cloud-based VMware offerings
• Work independently with customer stakeholders across business and technology functions within organizationally complex environments
• Translate customer successes into scalable knowledge assets - reference architectures, playbooks, and accelerators - for reuse across Minfy's MiMo practice
• Build and deliver workshops, technical breakout sessions, and thought leadership content at customer and industry events
• Act as a trusted advisor to customers and Minfy leadership on VMware and cloud migration strategy

• Collaborate with a team of domain specialists across cloud advisory and delivery
• Work on complex technical problems to identify tailored solutions for customers
• Serve as a trusted advisor to customers and Minfy leadership
• Provide technology guidance to customers and field/presales teams
• Represent Minfy at industry conferences and customer events
• Build mechanisms and accelerators that scale your expertise across the practice
• Coach and mentor team members, contributing to Minfy's talent development

What We're Looking For

• Deep hands-on experience with VMware technologies (vSphere, NSX, vSAN)
• Proven track record leading enterprise migrations across major cloud platforms
• Familiarity with cloud-based VMware offerings and native migration/replatforming paths on at least one hyperscaler
• Strong consultative and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to design resilient, secure, and cost-efficient cloud architectures independent of platform
• Excellent communication skills - comfortable presenting to technical and executive audiences alike
