In this hybrid role, you'll be responsible for developing our cloud-based data platform, optimizing data pipelines, and collaborating with analysts and business stakeholders. You'll work primarily with Google BigQuery and help support our existing Azure platform. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of data at Tempcover and make a significant impact in the fast-growing world of short-term insurance.

Missions

  • Collaborate with the Data Engineering team to develop and optimize the cloud-based data platform, focusing on data pipelines, models, and quality controls.
  • Design, build, and maintain ELT pipelines on BigQuery using dbt and Dagster+, ensuring reliability, testing, and idempotency.
  • Lead proactive performance monitoring and tuning, and implement data contracts, observability, and lineage to ensure data quality.
