Data Solutions - Senior Manager

As a Senior Manager in Data Solutions, you'll own delivery quality and client relationships across multiple Snowflake-led engagements, provide technical direction to Solution Architects and project teams, and contribute to growing the practice's capability, accelerators, and market presence. This is a hands-on delivery leadership role with escalation ownership, and people development across a portfolio of projects.

Responsibilities

Delivery & Client Ownership

• Own delivery quality, timelines, and technical direction across multiple concurrent Snowflake engagements
• Serve as senior escalation point for client stakeholders on architecture, delivery risk, and scope issues
• Review and approve solution architecture and design decisions made by Solution Architects/Team Leads on assigned accounts
• Manage senior-level client relationships, including steering committee/status reporting and expectation management
• Identify delivery risks early and drive corrective action across accounts

Pre-Sales & Account Growth

• Lead technical pre-sales for larger or more complex opportunities: estimation, scoping, solutioning, and orals/proposal defense
• Identify account growth and cross-sell opportunities within existing client relationships
• Partner with sales and other practices on solution plays, RFP responses, and multi-service proposals

People Leadership

• Manage, mentor, and develop a team of Solution Architects, Team Leads, and engineers across multiple projects
• Own performance management, career development, and capability-building for assigned reports
• Support resource planning and staffing decisions across the practice's active engagements
• Coach Team Leads on client management, technical decision-making, and junior mentoring

Practice Building

• Contribute to reusable accelerators, frameworks, and IP for the Data & AI practice
• Support capability development initiatives (training, certifications, POV building) within the team
• Represent the practice in internal capability reviews and client-facing capability presentations

Qualifications

• 12+ years in business intelligence/analytics solution delivery, including 6+ years hands-on Snowflake architecture and delivery
• Prior experience managing multiple concurrent client engagements or a portfolio of projects
• SnowPro Advanced: Architect preferred; SnowPro Core required
• Strong background in Snowflake architecture (data modeling, security/RBAC, cost optimization, performance tuning) with ability to review and validate others' designs
• Experience with dbt and at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Exposure to BI/analytics tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, ThoughtSpot, Qlik, or similar)
• 6+ years of consulting/project-based delivery experience, including client-facing senior stakeholder management
• Proven track record managing and developing technical teams, including other managers/leads
• Experience supporting pre-sales at scale - proposal leadership, orals, solutioning for large or multi-workstream deals
• Strong executive communication, negotiation, and escalation-management skills
• Experience contributing to practice-level initiatives (accelerators, capability building, account growth) is a plus
• Hands on with Snowflake Cortex AI, Python or similar GenAI-on-data capabilities is a must.
