Control and Oversight Analyst

The Control and Oversight role is a critical function focused on ensuring operational integrity and regulatory compliance within the firm's financial activities. Responsibilities

• Perform regular monitoring and oversight of operational processes to ensure adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Identify, document, and report control gaps or process inefficiencies to management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement remediation plans and process improvements.
• Conduct periodic risk assessments and control testing to validate the effectiveness of existing frameworks.
• Maintain accurate documentation and audit trails for all control activities.
• Assist in the preparation of management reports regarding control performance and risk status.
• Stay updated on evolving regulatory guidelines and industry best practices to ensure ongoing compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Proven experience in operational risk, internal audit, or control functions within the financial services industry.
• Strong understanding of financial products and regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and identify risks.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at various levels.
• Ability to work in a hybrid model based in Mumbai.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
