The role

Want to help make digital solutions work smoothly before they meet the real world? As a Component Tester, you will test individual software components, spot issues early and help improve the quality of products used in HR and recruitment technology.

You will work with people, data and technology in a role where curiosity is useful and “it works on my machine” is not quite the finish line.

• Plan and carry out tests for digital components and features
• Create and maintain test cases based on requirements
• Check functionality, usability and data flows
• Identify, document and follow up on defects
• Re-test fixes and help prevent recurring issues
• Work with colleagues across different functions to improve product quality

Requirements

You should enjoy understanding how things work, checking details and turning findings into clear next steps. You will also need to communicate well with colleagues and stay organised when working through different test scenarios.

• Experience with software testing and quality assurance
• Ability to create, execute and document test cases
• Understanding of defect reporting and follow-up
• Familiarity with functional and regression testing
• Good communication and collaboration skills
• A structured, curious and detail-oriented approach

The following would be considered an advantage:

• Experience testing digital products or software components
• Familiarity with agile ways of working
• Basic understanding of test automation
• Interest in HR technology, recruitment technology or data-driven products
