Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Platform/DevOps Engineer with a strong background in Cloud Platform Operations, specifically in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices to enhance our software development lifecycle. This role requires a proactive individual who can work collaboratively with cross functional teams to ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of our cloud environments.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Automate deployment processes and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery.
• Monitor and optimize cloud resources for performance, cost, and security.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate DevOps practices into the software development lifecycle.
• Implement and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Ensure high availability and disaster recovery strategies are in place for cloud applications.
• Conduct regular security assessments and implement best practices for cloud security.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for cloud related issues.
• Stay updated with the latest cloud technologies and industry trends to recommend improvements.

Mandatory Skills:

• Strong expertise in Cloud Platform Operations (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
• Solid understanding of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of networking concepts and security best practices in cloud environments.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and practices.
• Experience in working with microservices architecture.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5 7 years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering roles.
• Relevant certifications in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud are a plus.
• Strong problem solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
