The Role

UST is searching for an experienced Senior Java Developer with 7-10+ years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and implementing scalable enterprise applications using Java technologies.

What You’ll Do

·Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade Java applications and Microservices.

··Build scalable REST APIs and integrate with third-party services.

·Develop and maintain Kafka-based messaging systems for real-time data processing.

·Implement secure and high-performance applications using Spring Security and Spring Boot.

·Create and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Docker.

·Optimize database queries and improve application performance.

··Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and production support activities.

·Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile environments.

·Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and architectural guidelines.

What You Need

··Experience Range: 7-10+ Years

·7+ years of experience in Java application development.

·Strong experience with Java 8/11/17, Spring Framework, and enterprise application development.

·Hands-on experience with:

·Spring Boot

·Spring MVC

··Spring Security

·Spring IOC

·Spring AOP

·Hibernate/JPA

·Experience in designing and developing RESTful Web Services and Microservices architecture.

··Strong knowledge of Kafka for real-time messaging, event-driven architecture, and stream processing.

··Experience with Docker and Jenkins for CI/CD pipeline implementation and deployment automation.

·Strong understanding of Microservices design patterns and distributed systems.

·Experience in data analysis and data-driven solutions using SQL.

·Proficiency in database design, query optimization, and performance tuning.

·Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

··Hands-on experience with JIRA for sprint planning, tracking, and defect management.

·Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.

·Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

·Experience with Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

·Experience with Kubernetes/OpenShift.

··Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Splunk, ELK, Grafana, or Prometheus.

·Familiarity with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and automated testing frameworks.

Location & Compensation

Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.

Role Location: Bentonville, Arkansas

Compensation Range: $94,000-$141,000

Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty.
