Mobile Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead mobile development efforts across iOS and Android using React Native
• Lead and manage app releases, staging release, testflight release - App store management and understanding of app store complexities
• Integrating and leading mobile SDK and mobile architectures
• Obsessed over complex pixel perfect designs. Our design team produces hi-resolution videos, SVG animations with parallax and multiple interactive components using OpenGL and FWA Awards standard designs. You must be a master at this. And obsess over cross browser and cross device testing - using ChromeDev Tools and inspect might be in your arsenal but you're a physical device unit testing guy/girl.
• Loves solving complex mobile problems
• Lead state, session, API and memory management for performance and SDK integration with OneSignal, Apps Flyer, GA, Firebase, Monetate etc
• Ability to present and public speak and lead engineering teams for mobile - ability to articulate and clearly communicate timelines, deadlines and - fully commit to operational excellence in SDLC and AILC - must be aware of CAB, ITSM and project management for teams such as Agile, Scrum etc
• Architect scalable mobile solutions and enforce code quality and testing - Collaborate with design, backend, and AI teams to integrate new features - Guide the mobile team through agile sprints, reviews, and releases
• Ability to architect complex memory large scale routing applications and understand the differences of routing and memory handling - how can we have notifications, subscriptions and other microservices within the application and replicate these features for other apps
• Must have white label and component re-usable architecture knowledge of mobile apps
• Ensure performance, offline capability, and smooth user experiences, solid at PostgreSQL, React Native and Expo
• Solid experience in SSO, security, device mobile testing, unit testing, sentry and leading mobile teams to create flawless fast working mobile apps for Saudi Royal and Saudi Government apps
• Must be Claude certified and fully aware of co-work and empowering teams to build agentic and vibe coding mobile applications

Requirements

• 10+ years in mobile app development with 10+ years in React Native
• Experience to use new way of working like Claude Design, Figma AI
• Expert in solid mobile development - end-to-end iOS and Android - experience of launching complex and fast applications to app stores
• Proficient in TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.js, and mobile architecture - absolutely solid in native experience and device cross testing
• Knowledge of flutter is advantageous
• Knowledge of native app development is advantageous
• Solid LLM and AI mobile application development is advantageous
• Must have monetary experience in mobile apps (RevenueCat, In App Subs etc)
• Sentry or Firebase, Splunk, New Relic or Datadog - must have solid APM diagnosis skills and understand complex memory and app API complexities with large apps
• Experience with OTA updates, mobile CI/CD, and release management
• Excellent understanding of mobile UX/UI and app store requirements
• Leadership experience with remote and cross-functional teams. Must be able to work strongly and manage their team and able to report to the Head of Engineering weekly and contribute towards the Engineering framework; architecture and leading the Mobile Engineering team
• Solid understanding of app store policies in the middle east, app store laws, releasing and managing apps. You will be working in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. We are open to having remote roles - however you will be required to be on-site in Saudi Arabia for at least 1 week per month.
