About the Role: We are looking for a skilled and driven Back End Developer Intern to join our team. This role is perfect for a Master's level student with a passion for building robust and scalable backend systems. As a Back End Developer Intern, you will work closely with our engineering team to design, develop, and maintain server-side logic and databases that power our applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain server-side components and APIs using Python and frameworks such as Django, Django Rest Framework (DRF), Flask, and FastAPI.
- Work with databases including PostgreSQL, SQL, and NoSQL to design, optimize, and maintain data storage solutions.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Ensure the security and performance of web applications.
- Utilize Postman for API testing and debugging.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team discussions on best practices.
- Stay informed about the latest backend development trends and technologies.
About You:
- Currently enrolled or recently graduated from a Master’s program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Master’s program enrollment or completion is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of backend languages and frameworks such as Python, Django, Django Rest Framework (DRF), Flask, and FastAPI.
- Experience with database management and design (PostgreSQL, SQL, NoSQL).
- Familiarity with RESTful API design and development.
- Knowledge of security best practices in backend development.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Recruitment Process:

- Video Questionnaire: Candidates who successfully pass the written assessment will be asked to answer 10 additional questions to be submitted in a video format to further evaluate their skills and cultural fit. The ability to video record your answers will be required.
- Evaluation: Our team will review the responses to both questionnaires. Candidates who meet our criteria will be invited to the next stage.
- Orientation Session: Successful candidates will be invited to participate in an orientation session where they will learn more about Vosyn, our projects, and what to expect during the internship. After this session, you will be given the opportunity to opt-in if you choose that this internship is for you.
