SUSTAINABLE INVESTMENT

As capital markets and client expectations evolve and change, we have seen increased interest internally and externally in sustainable investment practices and strategies and in Wellington’s internal sustainability efforts. In concert with these shifts, Wellington has launched a number of bottom up initiatives, including starting new investment strategies and working groups focused on climate assessment, environmental, social, and governance (“ESG”) integration, long termism, gender-lens investing, constructivism, and impact investments. We believe it is important to focus even more time and energy on this initiative across our investment, client, and infrastructure platforms. We believe, through these efforts, Wellington can grow its position as a premier partner for sustainable investments to clients worldwide.
