THE POSITION

The Co-op will focus on responsibilities within the Financial Operations and Analysis group which focuses on providing revenue reporting and analyses to senior management across the firm. Responsibilities include summarizing and analyzing asset & revenue trends by Product, Client, Investment Style, Team, Portfolio Manager, etc. These responsibilities involve maintaining and updating relational databases and using spreadsheets to create models, analyze the data, and design ways to present it efficiently.

The Co-op will assist in providing supplemental reporting to various departments including the Client Group, Global Accounting, Financial Planning, Product Management, Investment Research, and Portfolio Management. The Co-op will be involved in various ad hoc projects and analyses that will be leveraged by senior management.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assume responsibility for updating and distributing various monthly revenue reports and analyses used by groups throughout the firm
  • Assume responsibility for automating reports using SQL, Tableau, AI tools, and Python
  • Help produce portfolio manager reporting by various attributes including AUM & Revenue
  • Use technology to create efficiencies across FP&A
  • Respond to ad hoc projects and requests from various groups

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proficiencies in Microsoft Excel, SQL, Tableau (Python experience is a plus)
  • Quick learner with the drive to learn as much as possible about theasset management business
  • Strong organizational and time management skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a challenging fast paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a sense of humor
  • Maturity, professionalism, and a high level of discretion are required

Only Northeastern University students are eligible for this program.

Please note: This co-op position entails cross-training to ensure optimal performance across functions. The anticipated start date for accepted candidates is December 2026/January 2027.

Our approach to compensation considers all aspects of total compensation; all employees are eligible to receive salary, variable compensation, and benefits. The base salary range for this position is:

$19-$35 per hour

This range takes into accountthe wide range of factors that are considered when making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; role; skills and experience; certifications; and education. This range is an estimate, and further details on salary and total compensation aspects will be shared with candidates during the recruitment process.

Base salary is only one component of Wellington’s total compensation approach. Other rewards may include a discretionary Corporate Bonus and/ or Incentives, if eligible.
