WSU Tech is seeking an Academic Quality Manager to support the college’s academic quality and continuous improvement efforts. This position plays an important role in assessment of student learning, academic program data management, state compliance, and faculty development.

The Academic Quality Manager serves as a resource for faculty and academic leaders by providing support with assessment planning, data analysis, academic programming, curriculum processes, and continuous improvement initiatives. This position also helps ensure the accuracy and integrity of academic program information used for state reporting and compliance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead institutional assessment planning, analysis, and reporting related to student learning and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with faculty and academic leaders on assessment practices, Program Review, curriculum, and academic quality initiatives.
  • Maintain academic program data and documentation to support accurate state reporting, compliance, and institutional requirements.
  • Analyze academic and assessment data and provide recommendations to support informed decision-making and program improvement.
  • Develop and facilitate professional development and resources related to assessment, academic quality, data analysis, and related technology systems.
  • Support accreditation, special projects, strategic initiatives, and other departmental activities related to academic quality and continuous improvement.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • Three years of progressively responsible experience in higher education, assessment, curriculum, academic affairs, academic compliance, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience working with academic data, technology systems, and complex processes involving multiple stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Higher Education, Curriculum and Instruction, Educational Leadership, Assessment, or a related field.
  • Experience leading or facilitating assessment of student learning and faculty development.
  • Experience with academic curriculum, Program Review, accreditation, or regulatory reporting.
