Rootify is looking for an experienced and motivated Purchasing Specialist to join our team and support our procurement operations.
Job Responsibilities
Identify, evaluate, and maintain relationships with suppliers.
Obtain and compare quotations to ensure competitive pricing.
Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
Prepare and process purchase orders according to company policies.
Coordinate with Operations, Warehouse, Finance, and Branch Managers to meet purchasing requirements.
Ensure the timely availability of food ingredients, packaging materials, and restaurant operational supplies.
Monitor supplier performance, product quality, and delivery timelines.
Maintain accurate purchasing records, supplier databases, and procurement documentation.
Monitor market prices and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Ensure compliance with company purchasing procedures and approval policies.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Accounting, or a related field.
4–6 years of experience in purchasing and procurement.
Previous experience in the restaurant or Food & Beverage (F&B) industry is preferred.
Strong negotiation, communication, and supplier management skills.
Good knowledge of purchasing procedures and inventory coordination.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and purchasing or ERP systems.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
