Questions
Which registers does this use?
The UK Home Office register of licensed sponsors, the Dutch IND register of recognised sponsors, the positive LMIA decisions Canada publishes, and the H-1B (LCA) and green card (PERM) disclosure data of the US Department of Labor.
Does a sponsor have to sponsor me?
No. A register shows that an employer can sponsor, or has sponsored in the past. Whether a particular role comes with sponsorship is the employer's decision; some adverts state it, and those are counted separately on every page.
How are employers matched to the registers?
By legal name, trading name and town, with a confidence score per match. Only matches scored 80 or more are shown; weaker ones wait for a person to review them.
