iOS Engineer

We are looking for an experienced iOS Engineer. As a Mid iOS Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and building complex applications that blend technology with business needs, enabling high-performing mobile solutions. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful products focused on the future of digital banking.

You will be joining a FinTech project for a dynamic banking organization active in seven countries, with total assets of €60.0 billion and 13,512 employees. With a total network of 700 branches in Greece and abroad, it offers a comprehensive range of financial products and services to its retail and corporate customers. It holds a strategic position in retail and business banking in Bulgaria and Serbia, as well as offering distinguished Wealth Management services in Cyprus, Luxembourg and London and is also present in Romania. Until now, they had build the biggest Omnichannel in the area of technology in the GR market regarding the FinTech area. They had already implement more than 10 Scrum Teams and now they expand their portfolio of services.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, development, and deployment of scalable iOS applications.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, UX Designers, and Backend.
• Engineers to translate requirements into robust, user-friendly iOS solutions.
• Implement architecture patterns (e.g., MVVM, VIPER) and ensure best practices across the codebase.
• Work with RESTful APIs, authentication protocols (e.g., OAuth 2.0), and integrate third-party libraries.
• Perform unit and integration testing to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and tools.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and trends in mobile development.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 1-3 years of experience in developing iOS applications.
• Strong proficiency in Swift.
• Solid understanding of iOS SDK, UIKit, SwiftUI.
• Experience with architecture patterns such as MVVM, VIPER.
• Expertise with Xcode, Git, REST APIs.
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools.
• Proficient with unit testing frameworks and debugging tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and a team-player mentality.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience in the FinTech or Banking sector.
• Exposure to mobile application security best practices.
• Experience delivering applications in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Familiarity with digital banking or omnichannel platforms.
• Experience contributing to process and development workflow improvements.
