A well-established multinational organisation is looking for a Junior Bookkeeper to join its finance team. This role will provide broad exposure to day-to-day transactional accounting while working closely with internal departments, suppliers, clients and international finance teams.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Process supplier invoices and match invoices to purchase orders
  • Process Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions
  • Issue customer statements and assist with collections
  • Post daily and monthly General Ledger journals
  • Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Assist with month-end financial close procedures
  • Prepare basic balance sheet and P&L schedules
  • Assist with financial reporting and data extracts
  • Use Excel and Google Sheets for reporting and analysis

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Relevant Accounting, Finance or Bookkeeping qualification
  • 1-2 years' relevant accounting/bookkeeping experience
  • Exposure to AP, AR and General Ledger functions
  • Basic understanding of reconciliations and financial reporting
