Tour Sales Consultant

Core Criteria:

• Minimum 3 years in the travel industry, specifically tour consulting or hotel operations
• Proven track record selling Southern Africa as a destination, including South Africa, Botswana and Namibia
• Diploma or degree in Tour Administration, Tour Consulting, Tourism Management, Hotel Management or Hospitality
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly with the English-speaking international market
• Ability to handle multiple client requests efficiently under deadline pressure
• Highly organised, with willingness to work varied hours when necessary

Candidate Responsibilities:

• Manage client communication across WhatsApp, email and calls, handling inquiries, bookings and payments with quick turnaround
• Prepare detailed itineraries covering all client requests and services
• Generate accurate invoices for confirmed bookings and follow up on outstanding payments
• Gather post-safari feedback consistently and resolve any concerns raised
• Communicate booking or itinerary changes clearly, both before and during trips
• Resolve issues early to maintain a smooth client experience and high satisfaction
• Drive achievement of weekly and monthly sales targets

• 6-day work week: Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm, Saturday 9am to 1pm
