KickStart International is a non-profit social enterprise focused on developing and distributing affordable irrigation pumps to smallholder farmers in Sub-Saharan Africa.Their "MoneyMaker" pumps enable farmers to grow multiple harvests year-round, even during the dry season, transforming their farms into profitable businesses and building resilience to climate change.This leads to increased income, food security, and improved livelihoods for farming families
We are recruiting commercially driven, well-networked professionals to grow sales and partnerships across Nigeria, to fill the position below:
Job Title: Country Manager
Locations: Abuja
Reports to: Regional Manager, West Africa
Responsibilities
- Lead the Nigeria programme and deliver country sales and impact targets.
- Build the sales team, close large government deals at federal and state levels, expand distribution, and grow partnerships with NGOs, IFIs and agribusinesses.
Requirements
- 10+ years' progressive sales and business leadership, ideally in agriculture, agribusiness, FMCG or rural distribution.
- Track record leading high-performing sales teams and distributor networks.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Agriculture, Economics or a related field.
- Proven record of selling to federal and state governments in Nigeria through public budgeting and procurement.
