Business Analyst

• Facilitate stakeholder workshops, interviews and requirements-gathering sessions.
• Analyse business processes and document current-state and future-state workflows.
• Develop business requirements, functional specifications, user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements for technical teams.
• Support solution design, Agile delivery, backlog refinement and scope management.
• Coordinate UAT, review test cases, assist with defect resolution and facilitate business sign-off.
• Support deployment, user training, post-implementation reviews and ongoing improvements.
• Maintain requirements traceability and manage stakeholder expectations throughout the SDLC.

• At least 5 years’ Business Analysis experience in software development, enterprise systems or systems integration.
• Demonstrable experience across the full SDLC, from discovery through deployment and post-implementation support.
• Strong requirements elicitation, documentation, process mapping and stakeholder management skills.
• Practical experience with Agile/Scrum and UAT coordination.
• Working knowledge of databases, APIs, systems integration and non-functional requirements.
• Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, Visio or equivalent.
• Relevant qualification in Business Analysis, Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• SQL, BPMN/UML, API integration, data migration or reporting experience.
• Exposure to cloud solutions, digital transformation and POPIA.
• Relevant Business Analysis or Agile certifications.

Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, clear communication, problem-solving, adaptability and the ability to manage competing priorities.
