The Role
SCYTALYS is currently looking for passionate QA Engineer who will be responsible for planning, designing, executing, manual and/or automating tests to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases based on requirements and technical specifications
- Collaborate with system engineers, developers, and product owners to ensure requirements are clearly defined and testable
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and support root cause analysis and issue resolution
- Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, traceability matrices, and test reports
- Support regression, sanity, integration, and release testing activities
- Maintain and enhance automated testing frameworks and test scripts
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, processes, and regulatory requirements
- Participate in peer reviews of test procedures, documentation, and reports
- Support continuous improvement of testing methodologies, tools, and processes
- Work closely with development teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions
Requirements
- 2-4 years of experience in Software Testing or Quality Assurance
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Good understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices
- Experience creating test plans, test cases, and test documentation
- Hands-on experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, Robot Framework, or Cypress
- Experience with scripting or programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Bash
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and version control systems, such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, and Git
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
