System Engineer / Infrastructure Engineer

- Administer Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPO and file storage- Manage VMware/Hyper-V and cloud IaaS resources- Monitor system health and capacity (Zabbix, Grafana, vCenter, etc.)- Run backup/restore and take part in DR testing- Resolve infrastructure incidents and do root-cause analysis- Handle service requests within SLA- Apply OS patches, security updates and hardening baselines under ITSM change control- Support infrastructure projects and keep SOPs, runbooks, diagrams and asset records up to date
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering or a related field
At least 2 years of experience in system administration or infrastructure support
Strong Windows Server and/or Linux skills
Knowledge of VMware vSphere and cloud IaaS (AWS, Azure or GCP)
Understanding of TCP/IP, routing/switching, VLAN, VPN, firewall and SD-WAN basics
Experience with patch management and monitoring tools
Working knowledge of ITIL/ITSM
Structured troubleshooter who is detail-oriented and works well with others
Advantage: CCNA, Network+/Security+, Microsoft, Red Hat or ITIL certification
