Senior Python Developer – Data Science

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Python Developer with deep expertise in Data Science and Machine Learning to join our engineering team. You will be responsible for designing and developing scalable, production-ready applications that integrate complex AI/ML models. This role requires a strong balance of software engineering rigor and analytical capability to translate business requirements into high-impact technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Python-based applications and services.
• Perform end-to-end data processing, including cleaning, preprocessing, feature engineering, and exploratory data analysis.
• Develop, train, and optimize Machine Learning models to meet specific business objectives.
• Integrate AI/ML models into robust, production-ready software architectures.
• Build and maintain efficient data pipelines and automate workflows for large-scale datasets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Data Scientists, ML Engineers, and Product Owners.
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to high-quality security and performance standards.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to technical design and architecture discussions.

Requirements

• 8-10 years of professional experience in Python development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Data Science libraries including Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, and SciPy.
• Proven experience in developing REST APIs using frameworks like FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
• Solid understanding of SQL and experience working with relational databases.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration via Kubernetes.
• Exposure to Generative AI frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or Hugging Face is highly preferred.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
