Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Backend/API Developer with extensive experience in building robust and scalable backend systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of Playwright for automated testing and a deep understanding of API development. This role requires a proactive individual who can work collaboratively within a team and contribute to the overall success of our projects.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain high performance backend systems and APIs.
• Utilize Playwright for automated testing of APIs and backend services to ensure quality and reliability.
• Collaborate with front end developers to integrate user facing elements with server side logic.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Implement security and data protection measures.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance development processes.
• Document development processes, code changes, and API specifications.

Mandatory Skills:

• Proven experience in backend development with a strong focus on API design and implementation.
• Expertise in Playwright for automated testing.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Node.js, Python, or Java.
• Experience with database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Familiarity with RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
• Solid understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum).
• Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience in microservices architecture.
• Understanding of front end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 10 15 years of professional experience in backend/API development.
• Strong portfolio of completed projects demonstrating expertise in backend systems and API development.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
