Pre-Owned Sales Manager

• Manage and lead the Pre-Owned Vehicle Sales Department.
• Drive the achievement of monthly and annual Pre-Owned sales targets.
• Manage a high-volume operation of approximately 100-120 units per month.
• Lead, motivate, coach and develop the Pre-Owned Sales Team.
• Monitor individual and departmental sales performance.
• Manage the acquisition and sourcing of quality Pre-Owned stock.
• Oversee vehicle appraisals and trade-in processes.
• Monitor stock levels, ageing, pricing and vehicle rotation.
• Ensure Pre-Owned vehicles are correctly priced and competitively positioned in the market.
• Manage stock turn and minimise aged stock.
• Monitor gross profit and overall departmental profitability.
• Develop effective sales and marketing strategies to maximise pre-owned vehicle sales.

• Matric / Grade 12.
• Valid Driver’s Licence.
• Previous experience as a Pre-Owned Sales Manager within a motor dealership.
• Proven track record in Pre-Owned vehicle sales.
• Experience managing a high-volume dealership operation.
• Proven ability to manage approximately 100-120 units per month will be highly advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle appraisals, trade-ins, stock management and vehicle pricing.
• Strong understanding of Pre-Owned vehicle gross profit and stock turn.
• Proven ability to manage, motivate and develop a sales team.
• Strong sales, negotiation and customer relationship skills.
