Sales, Marketing & Shipping Manager - Port Elizabeth

• Develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies to increase revenue and market share.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Eastern Cape and surrounding regions.
• Develop new client relationships within the logistics, freight, shipping and transport sectors.
• Manage and grow existing customer accounts.
• Generate leads through cold calling, networking, referrals, client visits and other business development activities.
• Prepare quotations, proposals and pricing based on customer requirements.
• Negotiate rates, contracts and commercial terms with clients.
• Follow up on quotations and leads to convert opportunities into confirmed business.
• Monitor sales pipelines and ensure consistent achievement of sales targets.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and business partners.
• Coordinate with internal logistics, operations and shipping teams to ensure customer requirements are met.

• Grade 12 / Matric.
• Relevant qualification in Sales, Marketing, Business Management, Logistics or a related field will be advantageous.
• Minimum 3-5 years' experience in sales/business development, preferably within logistics, freight, shipping or transport.
• Previous experience in a managerial or senior sales position will be advantageous.
• Strong new business development and account management experience.
• Experience dealing with corporate and commercial clients.
• Strong understanding of logistics, freight, shipping or transportation processes.
• Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
• Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
• Strong customer relationship management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with CRM systems will be advantageous.
